LUMI was made as an ode to love;

an ointment to its absence.

It's a reminder of the light

That can only be found

in utter darkness

The story behind LUMI

"When I was little, my mom would slide notes underneath my door. She signed them with 'mama', and a smiling star. Years later, when I was thinking of a logo, the star popped back up in my mind. It was a dark time in my life, and I needed to create my own light. I started drawing the smiling stars myself, and came up with the name 'LUMI'. "

Fun Fact

"The name LUMI means 'light' and is based on my initials LM. The logo is modular, and changes according to new collections or seasons. The only similarity between all of the logos will be an abstract representation of the letters in 'L-U-M-I'."
