A collection from the beginning of 2022

The pieces shown on the right are experimental. Since I no longer use epoxy due to environmental and health reasons, they will never be remade like this. However, I am fond of the aesthetic and the molds I made for the resin are used in my new  ceramic earring collection.

The pictures were made with the help of my wonderful friend Sofia Milošević.

Main Project 2021

Ode to the Embrace

Basically a school project that has inspired me endlessly. Starting out as an emotive design project, producing the shapes has already taught me to work with five different materials (epoxy, plaster, ceramics, felt and silicone). This project has also motivated me to finish my degree and develop it even further.

November 2020 - December 2021

Miniatures mostly out of cardboard and plastic, 3D prints, polymer clay

Main Project 2020

Start of Uni!

In 2020 and 2021, most of my focus was on school (Industrial Design Engineering, TU Delft). Especially the practical design projects really sparked my interest. For one course in particular, called FormX, I created many different shapes and concepts.

September 2020 - December 2020

Paper clay, brass wire, 3D prints, polymer clay

Main Project 2019

'Harmony'

April 2019

Acrylic paints on canvas, Polymer clay, metal wire

EN)End project for art class at high school. Based on 17th century Ukiyo-e art from Japan. It showcases my struggle with finding balance between peace and chaos. The koi symbolize Peace and the dragons chaos in these works. The statue in front is supposed to envision my idea for the future; complete harmony.

Main Project 2018

'A Mothers Love'

December 2018

Polymer clay, music box, baking tin, duct tape, synthetic hair, fishing hooks, wood

EN) Project for school in partnership with Kunsthal Rotterdam.  I wanted to make something that would show my fear for becoming a parent in a world that can seem so out of touch with reality. I feel powerless sometimes, when looking at the possible future. By trying to make the world seem beautiful, at least within my arms, am I contributing to insincerity too?
